WHO WE ARE
My name is Andrea and I am an integrative nutrition health coach certified by the Integrative Institute of Nutrition in New York.
I come from a family with a strong history of cancer, which made me aware, from a very young age, of the impact that the lifestyle choices I make can have on my health. Although I have always eaten healthily and exercised, after I struggled with issues like anemia, insomnia, and anxiety. I came to the realization that being healthy goes beyond the obvious and that sleep, good personal relations, and stress management are as important as eating veggies. So, I decided to take control of my health and to help others to do the same.
I have a holistic and individualistic approach to health. Being healthy involves everything that affects your body, mind, and soul: food, physical activity, spiritual life, leisure, etc. As human beings, we are unique, which means that what is good for others might not be good for us and what is good for us today might not be tomorrow.
By developing healthy routines and understanding what your body needs, you can improve every aspect of your life and be happier.
My name is Gina, I have been a passionate yoga practitioner and teacher for more than 10 years. I am convinced that whatever you do with your body has an influence on your mind and your emotions, and vice versa. When combining yoga and fitness, I found a very wholesome way to feel better than ever, both physically and emotionally, and I want to share this with you.
I believe that our bodies are precious gifts, the way they function and adapt are great examples of evolution, and the best way to honor them is by leaving behind our comfort zones. When we encourage ourselves to try things others would not consider, something in our souls ignites, and suddenly we find ourselves achieving things that we never thought we were capable of.
My experience as a fitness and yoga instructor has allowed me to guide my students into realizing the potential that body and mind have. Once we begin to observe our limits and strengths without judgment, we can head with deeper awareness towards new goals
My education began back in 2010, when I completed my first 200-hour certification by Yoga Alliance, followed by an additional 500 hours in 2016. I have always looked to deepen my apprenticeship guided by teachers such as Baptiste Marceu (Ashtanga Yoga) and Edward Clark (Tripsichore Yoga). As of today, I possess advanced certificates in several yoga styles (Ashtanga, Trispsichore and Vinyasa to name a few) in addition to a Nutritional Advisor and Personal Trainer certificate in 2019.
